Liam Clancy started off the Cardinals' scoring with a man-up goal in the eighth minute of the first quarter. Just 40 seconds later fellow sophomore
Bennett Bradley sent the ball into the back of the cage.

The Tigers notched one more 1:31 into the fourth period bringing their advantage to 9-4. Looking to close the gap Licata scored two more and Clancy notched another, but the late game surge would not be enough for the Cards to capture the victory. The scoreboard read 9-7 when time expired.

Catholic will continue their season at Cardinal Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m., versus Arcadia University.
