Box Score 3 Aston, Pa. – The Catholic University of America women's volleyball team completed the two-day Knight's Fall Classic at Neumann University with a (20-25, 25-12, 24-26, 25-21, 15-11) loss to Ursinus and victories over Rutgers-Camden (25-13, 25-22, 25-14) and Neumann (26-24, 19-25, 22-25, 25-21, 15-12).
The Cardinals are now 20-7 overall and 1-4 in Landmark Conference play.
In the opening loss to Ursinus, Maria Juelle led the offense with 14 kills, as Mary Paige Nesfeder added 11 kills to the action. Michelle Seals distributed 35 assists. Michelle Bouchard gathered 15 digs, while Audrey Bizak tallied two block assists.
At the conclusion of their second match of the weekend, Juelle again led the Cardinals' kill category at 11. She also tallied four service aces. Seals distributed 32 assists throughout the match. Kathryn Herrington recorded a match-high five solo blocks, as Bouchard notched 14 digs.
The final match of the weekend consisted of four double-figure kill outputs. Nesfeder led with 19 kills, Juelle followed with 14, and Herrington and Kelsey wrapped up the double-digit numbers with 10 apiece. Seals registered a career-high 47 assists in the win. Bouchard went on to collect a match-high 22 digs.
CUA returns to the DuFour Athletic Center in Washington, D.C., to host Stevenson on Thursday, October 16.
