BRIGANTINE, N.J. - The Catholic University men's rowing team competed in the Stockton-Brigantine Boat Race on Sunday at the Brigantine Rowing Club.
Competing against Franklin & Marshall, Stockton and Army West Point, the Cardinals' varsity eight came in second place with a time of 6:06.00. Army West Point won the race, crossing the line in a time of 5:54.47.
Catholic's second varsity eight placed second with a time of 6:47.48 while Army West Point finished first in 6:14.01.
As a result of their performance, the Cardinals were awarded the Coach Bob Garbutt Trophy.
Catholic returns to action on Saturday, April 9 at the Knecht Cup on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J.
