Catholic Closes Out Season at Dad Vail Regatta

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. – The Catholic men's rowing team returned to the Cooper River to compete in the second day of the 87th annual Dad Vail championships.

In the Men's PR3 Single Scull Final 1, Jeffrey Cone competed a time of 08:29.210. As the lone boat in the event, Cone came back donning a gold medal. 

The first Varsity 8+ boat advanced to Saturday's finals after making the cut in Friday's time trials. Caleb Gascoyne served as the coxswain, while Jack Koubek sat as the stroke with Sean Farrelly in the bow. Other members of the boat were Alan Nicholas (7), Jonah Stofko (6), Jeffery Cone (5), Thomas Robertson (4), Franklin Hudak (3), and Luis Piñero (2). The crew rowed a time of 06:19.210 and placed fourth behind Vassar. Marietta placed first with a time of 05:51.180 and Fordham took second place. 

The Dad Vail closes out the 2025-2026 campaign for Catholic men's rowing.
