Box Score

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Catholic University men's lacrosse junior Nic Pezone made 18 saves as the Cardinals fell to No. 3 Salisbury Wednesday night at Carlini Field, 14-8.

Led by two goals and two assists from Cross Ferrara, Salisbury outscored the Cardinals 10-3 over the second and third quarters to take its largest lead of the night, 14-6. The Sea Gulls also won 9-of-15 faceoffs over that span and scored on both of their extra-man opportunities.

Pezone also totaled 10 of his 18 saves over the second and third.

However, three-straight tallies by the Sea Gulls put the visitors in front to stay, capped by Ferrara's second with 12:14 to play in the second.
