ST. MARY'S CITY, MD. - The Catholic University men's rowing team concluded competition on the James P. Muldoon River on Saturday in a duel meet versus St. Mary's (Md).
The men's varsity eight boat placed first in the event with a time of 6:44.23. St. Mary's (Md) placed second with a time of 7:10.17. Catholic's second varsity eight finished third in the event with a time of 7:18.67.
The men's varsity four and novice four were also in action on Saturday. The men's varsity four placed first with a time of 8:11.46 while the Seahawks finished in second with a time of 8:25.95. The Cardinals' novice four rounded out the race with a time of 8:58.84.
Catholic returns to action on Sunday, May 1 at the Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championships on the Occoquan River in Lorton, Va.
