CHERRY HILL, N.J. - The Catholic University men's rowing team concluded competition in the Knecht Cup on Sunday on the Cooper River.
Competing against Army, Iona and Connecticut, the men's varsity eight boat placed third in the Third Final. The Cardinals crossed the finish line in 6:23.68, just eight seconds behind first-place Army.
Catholic's second varsity eight competed against Stockton, Rollins A, Susquehanna and Rollins B in the Men's DII/DIII Varsity Eight Final. The Cardinals placed third with a time of 7:00.11.
Catholic returns to action on Saturday, April 23 at St. Mary's on the James P. Muldoon River in St. Mary's City, Md.
