Box Score SCRANTON, Pa. - Led by nine points from junior Amanda Johnson, the Catholic University women's basketball team used a strong fourth quarter to come-from-behind and post a 60-55 road win over Scranton Sunday at John Long Center.
For the Cardinals (5-2, 5-2 LC), the win snapped a four-game losing streak at John Long Center, marking their first road win in the series since Jan. 21, 2017.

Following a layup by Kyra Quigley, the Royals led by four, 43-39, with 9:00 remaining in the fourth quarter. Catholic scored the game's next eight points, including the last three on a three-pointer by Johnson, to take its own four-point advantage with 4:02 to play.
Hannah Angelini answered with a three-pointer to cut the lead to one before Johnson hit another one to push the margin back to four with just over three minutes left.
With the Cardinals in front by four with 1:27 remaining, they scored their final eight points from the free throw line, going 8-for-11 to keep Scranton at bay.
Johnson finished with 18 points, 14 of which came in the second half to help Catholic rally from a 10-point deficit in the third quarter. She added eight rebounds and four steals.
In two games against the Royals this weekend, Johnson averaged 18.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals after totaling 19 points, seven rebounds and three steals on Friday.
The Cardinals trailed by just three at halftime, 26-23, thanks in large part to sophomore Rachel Bussanich who had 10 points and three rebounds in the opening 12 first-half minutes. She finished the game with 14 points and six rebounds, going a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line.
In making her first career start, freshman Sarah White scored nine points in a career-high 32 minutes. Sophomore Amelia Baldo also had nine points to go along with four rebounds and three assists.
Catholic's starters combined for 52 of the team's 60 points and 32 rebounds. After being outrebounded 43-31 on Friday, the Cardinals closed that gap to 46-42 on Sunday with sophomore Sammie McCarter matching her season high with six off the bench.
Monaghan led the Royals (3-1, 3-1 LC) with a game-high 22 points while Agelini added 13 points and nine rebounds.
Catholic wraps up its regular season on Wednesday with a road trip to Madison, N.J. to take on Drew in a game that was rescheduled from Feb. 7.
