Scoblick and Kennedy Earn Landmark All-Conference Honors

TOWSON, Md. – Two seniors from the Catholic women's basketball team have been named to the Landmark All-Conference team, it was announced today.
 
Anna Scoblick, former player and defensive player of the year, returns as a First-Team selection for the third consecutive year. The senior finished tenth in the conference for points per game and led the Cardinals in the category, averaging 11.5. Scoblick also ranked third in the conference for assists per game with 3.8 and ranked seventh for steals per game at 1.8, showing her athleticism on both sides of the ball. Anna Scoblick ends her career as the 22nd member of the 1,000 point club with the 12th most points (1,181) scored in program history. Additionally, Scoblick totaled 105 games in her career, 10th most in the program. 
 
Amelia Kennedy also joined the All-Conference team as an Honorable Mention. Kennedy is the second Cardinal in program history to earn this honor. This season Kennedy racked up 231 points, the fourth most on the Cardinal squad. With 79 free throw attempts, the second most behind Scoblick, Kennedy earned a .684 percentage from the charity stripe and ended the season ranked 18th in the conference. Kennedy also collected 121 rebounds this season, the third most for Catholic. 
 
Catholic has had a member on the All-Conference team since the conception of the Landmark Conference in 2008.
