WASHINGTON, D.C. - Catholic University women's volleyball sophomore Maria Gonzalez was named to the all-tournament team at the 2018 Guetle Invitational on Saturday as the Cardinals swept their opening match with Chatham before dropping a five-set heartbreaker to Salisbury on Franny Murray Court.

Catholic (6-2) dropped its second five-set match at home in the last four days after falling to Gettysburg on Wednesday.

Gonzalez was selected to the all-tournament team after totaling 107 assists, 21 digs and nine services as she averaged 9.73 assists and 0.82 service aces in 11 sets.
