Lasota Goes 4-0 as Cards Edged in Landmark Weekend

WASHINGTON — The Catholic University of America men's tennis was edged in two close Landmark Conference matches as they Cardinals fell at home to Susquehanna, 5-4, and at Juniata, 6-3. 

Senior No. 1 Jan Lasota led the charge for the Cards as he went a perfect 4-0 with two No. 1 singles wins and two top doubles wins with classmate Rob Alexander.

Rookie Frankie Fortunati earned a win at No. 4 singles against Susquehanna and made it a two-win weekend as he teamed with Kyle Weber in the No. 3 doubles match at Juniata in a tough matchup, 9-8 (7-5).

The Cardinals now have three matches left on their 2018 schedule, all coming at home on the Dowd Family Tennis Courts.
