WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America men's tennis team ended its season on a high note as they downed Landmark Conference foe Moravian on its home court, 7-2.
Junior Jan Lasota was a two-time winner for the Cardinals as he went over at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-1. He went on to team with classmate Rob Alexander to win No. 1 doubles, 8-3.
Sophomore Matt Pham was also a two-time winner for the Cards as he won his singles match in the No. 6 slot without dropping a point, 6-0, 6-0. Pham also teamed with a third two-time winner, freshman Kyle Weber, to take No. 3 doubles, 8-3. Weber was the winner at No. 5 singles, 6-2, 6-3.
Senior Jon Purowitz also got the win in his final collegiate match as he took the No. 4 singles match, 6-0, 6-1.
