WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America women's tennis team traveled Salisbury on Friday to take on the Seagulls, but were topped, 9-0.
Senior Faith Tamuleviz put forth a strong effort at No. 5 singles, forcing an extra point the first set, but was edged 7-5, before falling in the second, 6-1.
Tamuleviz combined with rookie Elizabeth Ast at No. 3 doubles and took three points off of the Seagulls, but fell, 8-3.
The Cards will look to get back on the winning track with a quick turnaround as they play at Randolph on Sunday at 11 a.m.
