WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America men's tennis team took on a tough Salisbury squad on the road and fell, 9-0.
Junior Rob Alexander put forth a strong day as he competed at No. 1 doubles and No 2 singles. He took two points in each set of his draw against Salisbury's No. 2 Grand Hudson and combined with classmate Jan Lasota to take three in the top pairing.
Lasota played No. 1 singles and earned three points in the first set, but fell, 6-3, 6-0.
The Cards will look to get back on the winning track with a quick turnaround as they play at Randolph on Sunday at 11 a.m.
