Box Score Bethlehem, Pa.– The Catholic University of America saw its softball season come to a close in the second day of Landmark Conference's double-elimination playoff tournament. The Cards scored three runs in the fifth to cut into Susquehanna's lead, but eventually fell, 7-3.
The Cardinals end the season with 25 wins, but could not add their 26th as Susquehanna jumped out to a 1-0 lead after the second and a 6-0 advantage after five.
Catholic finally got on the board in the bottom of the fifth. Junior catcher and three-time First Team All-Landmark performer
Kristina Lozupone started it off with a sacrifice fly.
Sophomore designated hitter and pitcher Megan Colline, also an all-conference selection this season, followed with a two-run home run that cut the Crusader lead in half.

Catholic ends the season with a 25-12 overall record after earning the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament with a 9-3 league mark.
