Box Score Madison, N.J. – The Catholic University of America men's lacrosse team rebounded on Saturday afternoon, earning a road victory at Drew, 12-5. Junior attack
Tim Keith led the way with six points, scoring five goals.
After a a tightly-contested first 13 minutes, Catholic outscored the Rangers 10-1 over the next 32 minutes.
Keith scored his first two midway through the second period and added three more in the third; his final coming in a man-down situation.
Junior Victor Licata got the scoring started for the Cardinals, netting the first score of the game as Catholic never trailed. Licata was responsible for both the Cards' scores in the first quarter, erasing an early tie with his second unassisted strike.
The Cardinals outshot Drew 26-15 through the first three quarters of the game.
Senior goalkeeper Harrison Holak earned his eighth win of the year, making nine saves to up his season total to 149.
Catholic will look to keep the momentum going in nonconference action next Saturday with a home matchup against local foe, Mary Washington.
