Box Score 2 WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America volleyball team went on the road Saturday as swept past Hood, 3-0. Junior setter Michelle Seals racked up a double-double with 28 assists and 11 digs to lead the way.
Seals posted an impressive afternoon as she was in on 31 on of Catholic's 35 kills, picking up three of her own on four total attacks.
Catholic held Hood to 20 points and under in each set, including an impressive 10 in the first game.
Senior middle hitter Kathryn Herrington led the offensive charge with eight kills, hitting .368. She also added two service aces, four digs and two blocks.
Next up, the Cardinals will compete in the Landmark Conference Tournament as the No. 3 seed, playing at No. 2 Susquehanna on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
