Box Score 2 Aston, Pa. – The Catholic University of America volleyball team continued its 15-match road trip on Friday night at Neumann, sweeping Baruch in straight sets, 3-0. The Cardinals play three matches at the Mirenda Center this weekend.
CUA held Baruch to under 15 points in the first two sets and then held off its foes, 25-22, in the deciding frame.
It was an all-around effort for Catholic as seven Cardinals tallied at least one kill with five registering four-or-more, led by sophomore outside hitter Brynn Cooley.
CUA received a strong effort from sophomore setter Michelle Seals who tallied a double-double with 29 assists and 12 digs in the three-set victory.
Junior libero Michelle Bouchard also went for double-digit digs, totaling a team-high 18.
