Chestertown, Md. – The Catholic University of American women's tennis team opened the 2015 regular season with an 8-1 loss to the Washington College Shorewomen on Saturday afternoon.

CUA senior Liz Harvey (Brightwaters, N.Y.) tallied the only the win of the match, retiring April Weaver in the third set (0-6, 4-1, retire).

The Cardinals head to Hilton Head, S.C., to take on Stockton on Sunday, March 8 to kick off spring break action.
