Frederick, Md. - The Catholic University of America women's tennis team improved to 4-0 on Monday with a 7-2 win at Hood. Junior Laura Torsiello went 2-0, winning her number one singles and doubles match.
Torsiello won, 6-4, 6-2, over Olivia Hosch and teamed with Sarah MacLean for an 8-3 win in number one doubles action.
Lisa Genadry and Erin Cole combined to match CUA's No. 1 doubles team for an 8-3 win of their own.
MacLean, Genardy, Faith Tamuleviz and Cole each won their singles matches at 2-5.
The Cardinals only two losses came in default at No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles.
