Box Score 2 Frostburg, Md. – Playing its final two games of the 2015 regular season, The Catholic University of America volleyball team split two matches at Frostburg State. The Cardinals fell to St. Mary's (Md.) 3-0 but rebounded to down the host Bobcats, 3-1.
Junior libero Michelle Bouchard led the way with over 20 digs in each match, posting 28 against Frostburg State and added 21 in just three sets versus St. Mary's.
In the win over the Bobcats, two Cardinals posted double-doubles as opposite side hitter Maria Cristina Juelle totaled 13 kills and 15 digs while sophomore setter Michelle Seals registered 42 assists to go along with 13 digs.
Sophomore outside hitter Brynn Cooley also just missed out on the double-dip with nine kills and 22 digs in the win over Frostburg.
With the regular season wrapped up, the Cardinals are now set for the Landmark Conference tournament with a matchup at No. 1 Juniata in the semifinals on the docket Wednesday at 7 p.m.
