Box Score 1 | Box Score 2

Selinsgrove, Pa. – The Catholic University of America volleyball team played two Landmark Conference matches on Saturday at Susquehanna, but were topped by both the host team and Juniata, 3-0.

The Cardinals took on Susquehanna first in a neutral site matchup and were led once again by sophomore outside hitter Maria Cristina Juelle who totaled 13 kills and added six digs. Unfortunately, no other CUA player totaled more than four, totaling eight other kills as Susquehanna took the match, 25-21, 25-14, 25-18.

CUA rebounded to play a strong match against undefeated Juniata, falling by just two in the first set and then going 29-27 in the second. Catholic could not break through however as they were topped in the final set, 25-16.

Sophomore Brynn Cooley led the offensive charge in match two, totaling 11 kills on 28 attacks and totaled 12 digs for the double-double.

It was the 10th and 11th straight match away from the DuFour Center for the Cardinals as they are in the midst of a 16-game road trip. CUA is in action next Tuesday night at Stevenson.
