WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to York (Pa.) for the first fall match of the season on Sunday, September 14.
No. 1 singles player Juan Lorido beat George Sosa 6-1, 6-0 and Juan Purowitz took the No. 6 singles win over Devin Lehigh 6-4, 5-7, 11-9.
Juan Lorido and Rocky Alaqbani captured the No. 1 doubles win 8-1 for CUA's first win of the day.
The Cardinals continue fall action with a Wednesday, September 17 match at Stevenson slated for 1:00 p.m.
