CUA Women's Tennis Captures 7-2 Victory

WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America women's tennis team captured its third Landmark Conference win on a 7-2 victory over Goucher.

1. Amanda Bercovici (Goucher) defeated Elizabeth Harvey 6-1, 6-0

2. Elaina Sceusa defeated Alex Walsh (Goucher) 6-2, 6-3

3. Eliana Martinez defeated Kelsey Turner (Goucher) 4-6, 6-2, 6-2

4. Laura Torsiello defeated Kirsten Cianci (Goucher) 6-1, 6-2

5. Caitlin Porter defeated Emily Ruff (Goucher) 6-4, 6-4

6. Emma Needham defeated Ryan Derham (Goucher) 6-0, 6-0

No. 2 doubles duo Elaina Sceusa and Eliana Martinez and No. 3 doubles team Andie Ingram and Isabel Tanco beat their Goucher foes 8-4.

Catholic concludes the season on the road taking on Scranton on April 12 and Drew on April 14.
