WASHINGTON - With two double wins and three singles victories, the Cardinals clinched their first Landmark Conference win of the season by overpowering Juniata 5-4 on the CUA Tennis Courts on Saturday.

No. 2 doubles team Elaina Sceusa and Eliana Martinez beat Tori Gray and Mitsuki Koh 8-6, while Andrea Ingram and Isabel Tanco defeated Rachel Yurchisin and Jackie Renniger 8-6 as well.

CUA's No. 1 Elizabeth Harvey took on Juniata's Heather Waring and came out on top with a 6-0, 7-6 (7-4) decision.  Sceusa notched her second win of the day with a 6-0, 6-2 for Yurchisin's second loss of the day.  Laura Torsiello rounded out the Cards afternoon wins with a 6-1, 6-4 victory.
