HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Cardinals got back in the win
column on Tuesday, downing Lebanon Valley 8-1. CUA swept the six
singles matches, receiving wins from Brian Bradley, Cassian Utrie,
Kyle Kramer, Joe Peters, Jason Quisberth and Schuyler Hayward.
At 1st singles, Bradley earned a 2-6, 6-0, 10-3 win over Ethan
Grodzinski, while Utrie picked up a 6-2, 6-3 win at the 2nd flight
vs. Ryan Weitzel.
Kramer downed Andrew Wilson at the 3rd flight, 6-0, 6-0, and
Peters defeated Sam Calabria 6-2, 6-1 at the 4th flight.
At 5th singles, Quisberth picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win against Jordan
Shankroff, and Hayward finished things off with a 6-1, 6-0 defeat
of Dillon Streifeneder.
In doubles play, Utrie and Hayward fell to Grodzinski and Weitzel
8-5 at the 1st flight, but Bradley and Quisberth won the 2nd flight
match 8-2, and Peters and Kramer earned an 8-6 win at the 3rd
flight.
On Wednesday, CUA faces Eastern Nazarene at 9 a.m.
