WASHINGTON – The CUA volleyball teams advanced to 16-13 on Wednesday with a 3-1 win over the Gallaudet Bison in the DuFour Athletic Center.

Kalen Backe and Mary Paige Nesfeder led with 13 kills apiece, while Mariana Cruz circulated 32 assists.  Michelle Boucard and Backe gathered 25 digs each, Cruz finished with 19 digs and Megan Chefalas collected 10 digs.  Kathryn Herrington tallied four solo blocks in the win.

Catholic heads to Bridgewater, Va., to take on Eastern Mennonite and Bridgewater on Saturday, Oct. 26.
