OWINGS MILLS, Md. – CUA evened its record at 2-2 with a
9-0 sweep of Stevenson on Thursday afternoon. Brian Bradley,
Kyle Kramer, Jason Quisberth, Schuyler Hayward, Joe Peters and Joe
Trinity all won singles points for the Cardinals, while Bradley and
Quisberth, Kramer and Peters, and Hayward and Trinity teamed up to
sweep the doubles.
Bradley and Kramer earned identical 6-0, 6-1 wins at the first and
second singles flights, while Quisberth swept Robbie Baker 6-0, 6-0
at the third flight.
Hayward emerged with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Conrad Ellis at fourth
singles and Peters downed Peter Hoblitzell 6-0, 6-1 at the fifth
flight.
At sixth singles, Trinity defeated Eric Belton 6-0, 6-1.
Bradley and Quisberth took down James Bishoff and Baker 8-1 at
first doubles, while Kramer and Peters earned an 8-2 win over Nick
Dunlap and Ellis at the second flight.
Hayward and Trinity defeated Hoblitzell and Anthony Carle 8-5 at
third doubles.
CUA closes out its fall schedule on Sunday afternoon when the
Cardinals welcome Hood to town. Start time is set for 1
p.m.
