WASHINGTON, D.C.  – The 2026 Catholic University Football schedule has been announced by Vicent and Ellen Sica Head Coach Kory David.

The Cardinals begin a new era within the program ahead of the 2026 season with Coach David beginning his first season at the helm of the program along with his staff that features several new faces. The highlight of these changes comes in both coordinator positions with Shawn Glosek and Drew Erlich both coming to the program from Washington & Jefferson. 

The first game of the season will be played under the lights on Friday, September 4 against a familiar week one opponent in McDaniel. This will be the sixth consecutive season-opener for the Cardinals against the Green Terror with the Cardinals winning four of the previous five week one matchups. Week one will kick off at 7:30 pm on the road at Kenneth R. Gill Stadium. 

Following the Saturday night opener, Catholic will return home for back-to-back weeks, facing Carnegie Mellon on September 12 and Franklin & Marshall September 19 at Cardinal Stadium. This will be the program's first time meeting the Tartans since 2013 and the second consecutive season facing the Diplomats. The Cardinals finish off the non-conference schedule with a trip to Salisbury on September 26, the first trip to Salisbury for the team since 2003. 

October 4 marks the Landmark opener for the Cardinals as they travel to Williamsport, Pennsylvania to take on the Lycoming Warriors at 1 pm. Catholic follows that up with a pair of home conference games against Susquehanna and Western Connecticut on October 10 and 17. The Cardinals then travel to take on Moravian on October 24 before returning home for their final home game on October 31 against Wilkes. The regular season wraps up on November 7 on the road against Juniata, rounding out the conference schedule.
