Haverford, Pa. - The Cardinals capture their first road win 3-1 against Haverford.
The Cardinals attacked early with the first goal of the game happening in the 15th minute. With a pass from

Angelina Serrano was able to send the ball to the back of the net and put Catholic on the board.Â
Catholic continued to push themselves to increase the score come the second half. In the 61st minute,
Teighan Boyle was able to give the Cardinals their first multiple goal game. Despite hitting this milestone, Catholic continued to pressure Haverford. This gave way to a third goal in the 62nd minute.
Isabel Doherty received a pass from Boyle, who scored her own goal just a minute before, and kicked it into the net.Â
Doherty, Serrano, and Boyle collect their first goals of the 2025 season. Freshman
Lauren Creamer earned her first start in goal this season for the Cardinals. With that, she also tallied her first save of the year and saw all 90 minutes of the game.Â
Haverford's lone goal was scored in the 67th minute by Mia Peifer, assisted by Sofia Terry.
Up next, the Cardinals will host Marymount (Va.) on Sept. 10th at 6 p.m. at Carlini Field.
