BRIDGEWATER, VA - The Cardinals field hockey team came up short on the road against Bridgewater (Va.) in a 2-0 loss.
Catholic collected 7 corners this game, outshining Bridgewater's 3, but ultimately were unable to convert. During the first quarter, Catholic was awarded one corner. The Cardinals went on to collect a towering 5 corners in the second quarter. Their seventh and final corner occurred halfway through the fourth quarter. In an attempt to put the game out of reach, Bowman was able to block the stroke, awarding herself a save. Bridgewater's second goal was scored by Autumn Just assisted by Kylie Amberger in the final minute of the game.
