NEW ORLEANS, La. - Catholic University Women's Track & Field had seven student-athletes named United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Athletes it was announced last week. The program was also named an All-Academic Team for their cumulative effort in the classroom.
To earn All-Academic Team honors, a program must have a team GPA of 3.10 or higher through the most recent semester. The Catholic women posted a 3.57 GPA to earn the honor this spring.
For an athlete to earn All-Academic honors, they must have posted a 3.30 GPA or higher, finished among the top 50 individuals on TFRRS, competed as a member of one of the top 35 relay teams on TFRRS.
The seven Catholic athletes to receive the honor are
Zoey Brown,
Brigid Byrnes,
Madi Fuerst,
Kate Inglis,
Clare Marsh,
Mia McConnell, and
Emily Moehringer. The seven honorees is the most-ever for Catholic.
