Gross, Marsh, Moehringer Compete at Tufts National Qualifier

MEDFORD, Mass. - Three Catholic indoor track & field athletes competed at the Tufts National Qualifier on Saturday afternoon at the Gantcher Family Sports and Convocation Center. 

Clare Marsh ran the 400 for the Cardinals, placing fourth in the event with a time of 59.05. Her time of 58.69 at the Landmark Championships set a Catholic program record as she placed third. 

Emily Moehringer, entering the weekend ranked 10th in the country in the 800, ran looking to improve upon her program record time of 2:11.34 set at the Doc Hale. She finished second in the event with a time of 2:12.53, just behind Mount Union's Mary Mason who clocked a 2:12.36. 

Conor Gross took to the track in the men's mile, placing 12th with a time of 4:19.59. His personal best remains 4:16.22, set at the Patriot Games, which places him fifth on Catholic's all-time list. 

Official qualifiers for the NCAA Division III in Pittsford, N.Y. will be announced this weekend.
