BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Catholic women's soccer proved the more threatening side on Saturday afternoon, but ultimately opened Landmark Conference play with a 0-0 draw at Moravian. 

The Catholic defense and junior goalie Ava Rieger collected its sixth clean sheet of the season. The Cardinals have yet to allow multiple goals in a match in 2024. 

The Cardinals outshot the Greyhounds 11-4 and 5-0 in shots on goal, but Riley Spingler made five saves in net to keep Catholic off the board. 

Five separate Cardinals logged a shot on goal in the contest -- Katie Scully, Ava Gregorio, Teighan Boyle, Isabel Doherty, and Faith Sawyer. 

Alex Berish, Avery Bowman, Kaitlyn Houri, and Boyle played the full 90 for Catholic. 

The Cardinals will have a week to prepare for the arrival of the Scranton Royals next Saturday on Family Weekend at Catholic University.
