Lowe Earns Back-to-Back Landmark Offensive Player of the Week Honors

| By:
TOWSON, Md. - For the second straight week, Catholic quarterback Madden Lowe has been named Landmark Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Lowe accounted for four touchdowns in Saturday's 34-20 win over Juniata on Senior Day.

Lowe completed 37-of-53 throws for 368 yards and three touchdowns while also icing the game with a 13-yard rushing touchdown with five minutes remaining in the contest. Lowe finishes the season with three straight 300-plus yard passing performances as Catholic won three consecutive games to finish 5-5. The Cardinals posted a record of .500 or better for the third straight season, the first time Catholic has done so since a seven-year stretch from 1994-2000.

For the season, the Stafford, Va. native completed 304 passes for 2,651 yards and 24 touchdowns. He also accounted for two rushing scores in 2023. In 22 career games, Lowe has completed 642 passes for 5,998 yards while accounting for 56 career touchdowns.

The nation's leader in completions per game, Lowe upped that number with his 37 completions. Lowe replaces himself in third all-time in Catholic single-season history with 304 completions in 2023. Lowe also moved into eighth-place in single-season passing yardage and in a tie for sixth for passing touchdowns, finishing the year with 2,651 and 24 respectively.

Lowe threw a pair of touchdowns to Preston Jeffrey and tossed a touchdown to Cade Chrebet for the first of his career.
