WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Catholic University men's swimming and diving team made a short trip to Howard to compete against the DI Bison on Saturday afternoon.
Catholic (5-4, 3-1 LC) grabbed a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay as the quartet of Jack Hufner, Nathan Ober, Jackson Hicks and William Crecca put together a run of 1:38.14.
Daniel Green swam to a runner-up finish in the 1000-yard distance freestyle, clocking in at 10:40.36, just four seconds off his season-best time.
Senior Troy Young earned a podium finish in the 1-meter platform dive, accumulating a score of 192.70. His Cardinal teammate Charles Connolly II finished less than half a point behind, posting a score of 192.25.
Catholic will now look toward Landmark Conference Championships, which will take place at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center on Feb. 17-19. The men will look to defend as Landmark Conference champions.
