TOWSON, Md. - The Catholic men's swimming and diving team had 14 athletes receive Landmark All-Conference honors, it was announced today.
Gabriel Hermann headlined the honors for the Cardinals, receiving the Diver of the Year recognition and two First Team placements.
Hermann swept both diving events at the championship meet, winning the 1-meter event with 413.35 points and the 3-meter with 407.10. He is the fifth recipient of the award from the Cardinals squad, joining teammate
Charles Connolly III who has claimed the distinction for three straight seasons from 2023-25.
Connolly and
Jack Walsh joined Hermann on both diving podiums this past weekend, Connolly picking up second in both events while Walsh took third.
Teddy Tsakumis and
Sean Kelty each received two First Team honors at the meet, T. Tsakumis taking first in both Backstroke events and Kelty earning gold in both Individual Medley events. Kelty and T. Tsakumis both picked up an Honorable Mention, T. Tsakumis in the 50 Freestyle and Kelty in the 1650 Freestyle.
The Cardinals received Second Team honors in five Relay events: the 200 Freestyle Relay, 200 Medley Relay, 400 Freestyle Relay, 400 Medley Relay, and 800 Freestyle Relay.
