HERSHEY, Pa. - Sophomore Lauren Lombardo shot +6 to lead the way for Catholic on Wednesday afternoon as they finished second in the Elizabethtown Fall Invite at Hershey Country Club East. 

Lombardo's 77 was good enough to earn her a third-place finish while freshman Lauren Wright shot an 81 (+10) to finish sixth at the event. The Cardinals shot +44 as a team, falling seven strokes shy of Alvernia. Freshman Brooke Smith (+14), sophomore Avery Mrak (+14) and senior Annie Wright (+21) all finished in the top 12 for Catholic to help earn the second-place finish. 

Catholic returns to the course on Monday, Sept. 26 at the Stevenson Fall Invitational.
