CHERRY HILL, N.J. - The Catholic University women's rowing team concluded competition in the Knecht Cup on Sunday on the Cooper River.
Competing against Ithaca, Bryn Mawr A, Stockton and Bryn Mawr B, the Cardinals' women's varsity eight A boat placed third in the Grand Final with a time of 7:49.34. Ithaca won the race with a time of 7:21.53.
Catholic's varsity eight B also competed in the Grand Final and placed sixth with a time of 8:48.33.
Competing against Ithaca, Lafayette, Cabrini A, Susquehanna and Cabrini B, the Cardinals' varsity four placed fourth in the DIII Final with a time of 9:00.80. Ithaca won the race with a time of 8:38.96.
Catholic returns to action on Saturday, April 23 at St. Mary's (Md.) on the James P. Muldoon River in St. Mary's City, Md.
