Box Score WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Catholic University men's soccer team scored three second-half goals to post a 4-1 victory over local foe Marymount (Va.) Sunday and capture the Turk Emekli Classic championship.

Freshman Domenico Caltabiano scored the first two goals of his career on Sunday, including the game-winner in the 74th minute, and was named Most Valuable Player.
It was a game of firsts as six different players recorded their first career point while junior Austin Coron earned his first career win in goal. The Cardinals also captured the Classic championship for the first time.
Catholic opened the scoring just 5:28 into the game when sophomore Nate Perrins netted his first career goal off an assist from junior Darius Siahpoosh. who picked up his 25th career point in his 24th career game.
Despite being outshot 12-6 in the first half, the Saints (0-2) tied the game in the 31st minute.
Neither team could get the go-ahead goal until Caltabiano broke the stalemate at 73:12 on a chip from freshman Liam Giblin to put the Cardinals back in front. Giblin registered his first career point on the play.
The goal touched off a stretch of three goals in a span of just 4:36 for Catholic as senior Hunter Davenport scored his first goal in nine games as a Cardinal at 75:09. Freshman Jacob Rocha picked up his first career point with the assist.
Caltabiano then capped the scoring with his second tally at 77:44 off a feed from freshman Lorenzo Carletti who was the sixth different player to record his first career point with the assist.
In goal, Coron made one first-half save while freshman James Pickeral made his first career appearance.
Catholic held a 20-8 advantage in shots and a 14-1 margin in corner kicks.
The Cardinals look for their second Classic title next weekend as they head to New Jersey for the Cialella Soccer Classic hosted by Rutgers-Camden.
