WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Catholic University women's soccer team fell to Drew on Saturday in a Landmark Conference contest at Carlini Field, 4-1.

The Cardinals (5-6-1, 0-3-0 LC) dedicated today's game to raise awareness for Pediatric Cancer alongside The Mary Ruchalski Foundation who raises funding for research and to provide financial aid to families going through treatment. Play 4 Mary is a way for athletes to give back and make a difference while doing what they love.

The Rangers got on the board first in the second minute off an unassited goal from Alexa Krause. Just nine minutes later, she added her second goal to double the lead, 2-0.

Sophomore Jordan Siok cut Catholic's deficit in half, scoring her fifth goal of the season in the 13th minute off an assist from senior Taylor Porcello. 

Junior Molly Krzywicki made two of her four saves in the opening half as the Cardinals trailed 2-1 at halftime.

Drew (6-5-1, 1-1-1 LC) scored two goals on seven shots in the second half as Krause completed her hat-trick in the 57th minute and Jessie Brannick added her second goal of the season.

The Cardinals look for their first conference win on Wednesday when they welcome Goucher to Carlini Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
