WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Catholic University women's soccer team dropped a non-conference match to Gettysburg on Wednesday, 3-0.

The Cardinals (5-9-1) recorded seven shots on the day with three different Cardinals took two shots a piece. 

Senior goalkeeper Marykate Stack recorded a career-high 17 saves, shattering her previous best while making stops on two penalty kick attempts.

The Bullets (10-2-1) got off to a quick start, scoring in the sixth minute. They held a 12-5 advantage in shots as Stack recorded seven saves. 

Gettysburg also scored just 30 seconds into the second half, increasing its lead to 2-0. The visitors took 15 more shots with Stack totaling another 10 saves.

Catholic returns to Carlini on Saturday against Susquehanna when it will be honor the team's five seniors. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
