Box Score WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America junior goalkeeper Sophia Hamilton earned her first career conference honor, as she was selected as the Landmark Defensive Athlete of the Week.
Hamilton was stellar in her fourth career start as she recorded her first shutout victory.
The Ellicott City, Md., native made three saves in the contest as No. 19 Catholic was victorious in its season opener versus Washington & Lee, 2-0.
Hamilton has not allowed a goal in her Catholic career, spanning seven games and 270 minutes.
