Catholic Rolls Past Marymount for Pablo Coto Championship

WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America men's basketball team stayed unbeaten on Sunday afternoon in Arlington, Va., downing host Marymount for the fourth annual Pablo Coto Tournament Championship, 74-59.

Senior Louis Khouri led the way with 15 points, six rebounds and three steals as he was honored as the tournament MVP.

Sophomore Andre Mitchell was recognized on the all-tournament team as he finished the game with a game-high 18 points seven rebounds. He also added four steals and three assists.

Marymount had three sorcerers in double-digits, but after an early lead, they could not rebound.

Catholic faced an early 7-0 deficit, but came back to tie it up at 21-all and never trailed again.

Senior Jeff Holland knocked down two free throws at the end of the first to make it a six-point game at halftime as Catholic rolled to its second-straight victory.

The Cardinals return to action next Sunday at Wesley with tipoff set for 3 p.m.
