WASHINGTON, D.C.  –  The 2026-27 regular season schedule has been announced for Catholic men's basketball, coming off its third straight trip to the NCAA Tournament with a 20-8 record. 

Head Coach Aaron Kelly announced the 26-game slate that features three NCAA Tournament teams from a season ago including Landmark opponent Susquehanna. The Cardinals also square off with two programs that reached the Final Four last season in Christopher Newport and Mary Washington as UMW went on to win the National Championship against Emory.

The 2026 season will tip off for the Cardinals on November 6 at the Bear Bash Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Ursinus against Schreiner at 7:30 pm. The weekend will conclude on November 7 for Catholic's second game of the tournament at Ursinus depending on results of the first day.

Catholic remains on the road to take on CNU on November 14 before returning to Franny Murray Court for its home and conference opener against Goucher on November 18. The Cardinals follow that up with another Landmark matchup at home against Lycoming (Nov. 21). The Cardinals then hit the road with a short trip to Marymount (Va.) (Nov. 24) before two more conference games at home against Juniata (Dec. 2) and on the road at Wilkes (Dec. 5).

The holiday tournament returns for the program this season on December 21st and 22nd as Eastern, Hobart and SUNY Oneonta come to DC. Catholic will face Eastern in the first round with Hobart and SUNY Oneonta playing in the other first round matchup.

Non-conference play wraps up for the Cardinals in the new year on January 3 when they take on the defending national champions, Mary Washington. The remaining 14 games on the schedule are against conference opponents with the regular season culminating on February 20 on the road against Scranton.

Catholic faces off against the defending Landmark champions, Susquehanna, on January 13 and February 10.
