Box Score WASHINGTON – The Catholic University of America volleyball team earned its 24th victory of the year as the Cardinals went on the road and swept Lancaster Bible, 3-0.
The Cards held the Chargers to just 13 and nine points in the first two sets, respectively, before closing out the victory, 25-18, in the third and final set.
Senior Mary Paige Nesfeder posted a match-high 11 kills and just missed a double-double with nine digs. She also hit. 400 for the match.
Junior setter Michelle Seals assisted on 31-of-36 Catholic kills and added six digs, while senior libero Michelle Bouchard registered a game-high 20 digs.
The Cardinals play their final regular season match this Saturday at Hood, before facing Susquehanna on the road in the Landmark Conference Semifinals on Wednesday, November 2, at 7 p.m.
