Catholic tallied eight shots with six shots on goal, as Mary Washington registered 13 total shots and 11 on goal. CUA's Tarah Portland, this week's Landmark Offensive Athlete of the Week led the offensive effort with three shots on goal.
Despite the loss, former Landmark Defensive Athlete of the Week Analisa Scott finished with a season high nine saves over her 70 minutes in goal.
The Cardinals finish out the month of September on the road taking on Misericordia on Saturday, September 20 at 2:00 p.m. and Landmark Conference foe Elizabethtown on Saturday, September 27 at 1:00 p.m.
