WASHINGTON – Landmark Conference foe Scranton overpowered Catholic 1-0 on Saturday at Cardinal Stadium forcing the second conference loss of the season.

Catholic, who entered the contest 4-1 in the conference, was unable to capitalize on 20 penalty corners and 19 shots on goal.

Despite the upset, CUA finished second in the Landmark Conference and will host No. 3 Juniata in semi-final action on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m.
