Bors begins his first season at Catholic in 2022-23 after two years as an assistant coach at Ursinus College.
While at Ursinus, his responsibilities included recruiting, opponent scouting, player skill development and development of game and practice plans. He helped the team reach the Centennial Conference semfinals last season, knocking off Dickinson in the quarterfinals. The Bears also defeated No. 17 Swarthmore, 95-86, in a big road victory.
During his playing career, he featured in 79 games, starting 28, in four years at Bowdoin University. He was a consistent offensive threat, scoring 20 points in a win over Colby his freshman year and surpassed 20 points four times as a sophomore. He also produced a 15-point performance in an iconic win over No. 7 Babson during his junior season. Bors was a team captain during his senior season.
In his two years at Ursinus, he helped mentor to all-conference players, one all-district, one second team all-region and one 1,000 point scorer.
