High School: Two-sport athlete at Owen ... three-year letterman in football, helping his team to a 9-3 record in his final year ... made the playoffs in each season ... opened holes along the line allowing the running back to set Owen's single-season rushing record ... captain in his senior season ... also earned four varsity letters in tennis with four playoff and two semifinal appearances ... All-Western Highlands Conference selection in both football and tennis as a senior.
